Do you agree with the testing of cosmetics on animals?
Do you use cosmetics?
If you don't agree with animal testing but still use cosmetics then your actions don't reflect your morals. If someone treats you differently because you are wearing make-up/hair gel then their perception of you really isn't worth worrying about.

How do you stop rabbits blinking when rubbing shampoo into their eyes? Simple, cut off their eyelids.

There are much bigger things to worry about in the world than non-human animals. Many people do things (like use cosmetics) for which they are vaguely aware of the unpleasant consequences of their actions, and yet they continue solely because of social pressure. If you can live free of guilt even though you are only one step away from being directly responsible, how will you ever accept your more subtle and complex involvement in global human suffering.
