Troubleshooting

floppy roach /flopi: r<utS/ - (n) spliff hangs from roach

Prevention - You need to fill the spliff with more baccy near the roach for support. Can also be caused by too short a roach.

Cure - Try pushing the roach further into the spliff.

sideburn /saidb<:n/ - (v) an uneven rate of burning

Prevention - Usually the result of an uneven gear/baccy mix.

Cure - Try burning off the unburnt bit before it gets worse. For serious problems, apply saliva to the fast burning side.

tar attack /ta: <tak/ - (n) tar build up at the roach

Prevention - Make a wider roach. Sometimes this is the result of to to much spliff to to little roach. Try searing off the rough edges of the roach with a lighter.

Cure - Make sure the roach isn't blocked. Burn off tar.

toking issues /t<uking iSu:z/ - (n) problematic smoke flow

1. No flow (Usually blockage at baccy-roach interface)

Prevention - Compress gear/baccy less during rolling. Make a wider roach. Fill more (floppy roach) or less (potential blockage) baccy at roach.

Cure - Check the roach isn't blocked. Roll the roach. Roll the spliff a little around potential blockages.Toke in a fast puffing manner.

2. Flow but keeps going out (Usually spliff is too loose)

Prevention - Use more gear/baccy and compress more during rolling. Make a narrower roach. Fill more (floppy roach) or less (potential blockage) baccy at roach.

Cure - Try pushing the roach further into the spliff to compress more.
