If you only have regular sized rizla, you'll need to make an L-plate. If you have no rizla at all, find the thinnest paper possible e.g. Bible pages. Thin paper tends to stick with just saliva.

(i)Find a groove of about 90 degrees. A good technique is to use the rizla packet on an open tobacco pouch on your lap. Place the roach at the right hand end of the rizla (unless you are left-handed).

(ii) Make sure you have the glued edge on the inside far edge from you. Having to take apart a finished spliff because the glue is on the wrong side is deeply upsetting.
