Donkey Donkey (also known as Ghost) is a mental word game where players attempt to create longer words than each other by the addition of letters.
Rules:
The first player chooses a letter of the alphabet.
Each following player then chooses and adds another letter.
At anytime a player (A) may challenge another's (B) choice of letter. If B cannot complete the word to make a real word then they lose the round. If they can, then A loses the round. When a player loses, they get an imaginary 'D', then 'O', etc. The first player to lose 6 rounds in total ('DONKEY') loses the game.
Super Donkey allows addition of letters to either end of the word.
Other variations all you to add new branches to any letter in each word, in 2D, 3D or an unlimited number of dimensions.
